On May 5, 2022, Dave Chappelle was attacked onstage, during a performance at the Hollywood Bowl. His attacker, Isaiah Lee, later claimed he was "triggered" by Dave's jokes about the LGBT+ community, as if that was a legitimate excuse. Newsflash... it's not. Month's later, Dave's show at First Avenue was moved to another venue due to staff complaints. If the LGBT+ community truly wants acceptance, than it must learn to take a joke. If what it/they really want is power through intimidation, then hats off, they've scored another pyrrhic victory.
